Thankfully, we live in an era of conveniences – where groceries or restaurant meals can be delivered to your door with a few clicks of an app. Golden GoFers Personal Assistant Services rise far above one-task options, by personalizing your service plan to enhance your overall lifestyle and foster your independence, health, and safety.

For example, we not only can shop for your food, we can put it away, prepare you a healthy meal, package leftovers for the week, and then tidy up the kitchen. No awkward strangers in your home, and we can go as low-tech or as high-tech as you’d like with your shopping lists.  We’ll even teach you how to use the latest phone apps and websites for times you need backup.

From scheduling and accompanying to doctor’s appointments, to screening home contractors, to simply enjoying an activity together, Dianne and her team of GoFers excel at catering to your lifestyle preferences. Our clients are regally treated as honored friends – guaranteed. Now, that’s golden!

Hourly rates start at $35 per hour.  Minimum is 2 hours (in most cases,) and time is rated per 15 min. above that. See FAQ for our Cancellation Policy and Excessive Mileage fees.

*We are happy to arrange public/private transportation to accompany clients on outings since our insurance does not permit use of personal staff vehicles at this time. Permissive use of client vehicles is possible.

SafeGuard Check-ins

When you’re not able to routinely visit a loved one to ensure they are doing well, let us be your SafeGuardian angels. Once a week, every two weeks, or monthly – whichever plan allows you to breathe easier. Visits are 50 minutes, plus 10 minutes for a written or verbal follow-up with the client’s main contact/family member. Fee is $60, and our checklist includes:


  • Inspect food supply and possible spoilage
  • Bring in mail and newspapers
  • Visual home safety check to help prevent falls
  • Remove trash
  • Medication & hydration reminders
  • Assess and adjust room temperatures
  • Companionship and conversation
